The Turks in Europe is a project developed on various levels:

- art/exhibitions:
a major exhibition of international appeal and two other exhibitions organised in   Palmanova and one in Pordenone. Other related exhibitions involve Udine, Trieste and Villa Manin in Passariano.

- culture/entertainment:
a calendar of events related to the exhibitions including meetings, debates, conferences and further opportunities to explore the subject via theatre, music, cinema, figurative art; again, other towns in the region will be involved too, for example Cividale del Fiuli through the theatre, music and dance festival “Mittelfest” – directed by Moni Ovadia – and Gorizia through the event “La Storia in Testa”.

- tourism/promotion:
from Palmanova a large number of offers related to the event radiates out to the rest of the region. Tourist itineraries and packages, typical Turkish dishes, bookshops and stands selling gadgets in a number of locations.
